COVID-19 An Overview and Are Care Homes The Next Disaster Waiting To Happen?

On 25 April The UK past another milestone with over 20,0000 recorded Corvid deaths according to government published statistics. And more than 148,337 affected, representing an infection to death of over 13%! These statistics don't include the infections or death rates outside NHS hospitals which many estimates to be proportionately higher. Why because accurate and timely figures aren't available! On 23 04 20 the UK Financial Times article estimated that COVID 19 deaths were as many as 41,000. This is over twice the Government published figure. An estimated 10,000 deaths have occurred in U.K care homes and a similar number at home Why is the UK infection rate to deaths so high compared to most other European countries?
