London Art Gallery Promoter Linked to Fraud and Girly Web Sites? Not ME Your Honor!

'Ken Morita' a Japanese national also goes by the name ‘Yoshi’ and maybe others? It is directly linked to planning what on the face of it seems unsavory hotel bedroom videos together with facing a £200,000 fraud. He is reported to have had a stroke of bad luck recently but this news !moves it to the next level!

Morita runs East-West Art Link which he founded and apparently is one of a number of his business interests, he has a history of developing diverse money-making ventures.  East-West Art Link is an art exchange set-up to both promote artist's work and selling them. Morita deploys an array of established and respected judges to give credence to this business. It is not known if he pays them, but he supports them through his web site www.eastwest-artlink.net highlighting their work and provide backstories

It is believed Morita’s judges are not aware of his business interest and penchant for more adult types of art! But one would reassembly assumes if judges were aware of Morita's ‘interest’ they may be less willing to continue supporting his venues and having their names associated with Eastwest-Art.net link?

‘Clearly, who would want to risk embarrassment as well as potentially damaged to reputation  by being an association to such claims’ said one with knowledge of Morita’s business’

 The art scene is known for attracting a clique of creatives and well-healed individuals patronizing art venues. Many being exhibited in upmarket London locations, Morita is no exception and does the same. Socializing, networking, and enhancing one's reputations is all part of the scene, thus any whiff of scandal or embarrassment by association will result in patronage being decimated. And worse still, if the papers are informed, names and photos exchanged it can be acutely embarrassing for both judges, their employers, and circle of friends and family

One could imagine the conundrum of what to do for Morita or anyone else if such a situation happened? Here are some options he may want to consider. Act Dumb, Deny, Come out fighting Clearly there is a need to leverage all your creative skills to try and deflect the core issues, spin the issues and try and talk yourself around to what could become an ever-increasing dark space!

So what are your key options?

Keeping your head down and act Dumb, may work in the short term, but pent up pressure for answers particularly from judges, and key interest groups like sponsors and advertisers will intensify thus this strategy will ultimately we believe have a high failure rate. The no smoke without fire’ syndrome.

Just Deny will depend on how persuasive your argument is and the hope there is no paper trail that turns up to make you look like a born liar.

Come out fighting is the highest stake strategy it may do the trick if you are vociferous. But it may have the opposite effect resulting in initiating a protracted head to head with the accuser ending in court!

Of cause, there is an honest approach, To be honest, and upfront. Put your hands up to say it was in the ‘Best possible taste.’ Art is Art, and subject to individual interpretations and prejudices what is wrong in anyone to plan photoshoots of models in a hotel bedroom? It happens all the time, doesn't it? But of course, not everyone sees it this way. Many have the view that the artist has enquiring minds and liberal views. Thus it may broach the subject and debate is pornography art? But Morita planning to video a pose of models in a hotel bedroom to be commercialized online may be pushing the boundaries of what one may call video art?

The timing could be worse for Morita with high profile cases still making headlines both in the UK and States. For example, Prince Andrew has been ridiculed on the way he handled his association with Epstein to name just one, there are sure to m be many more about. The Caronaous virus will have decimated his exhibition plans for 2020 like many others and his strong association with China may not help as sentiment and associated may take a deep psychobiological knock way after this the virus has gone. On top off, all this is Morita’s being publically accused as a £200,000 fraudster which he has failed to take legal action to defend his position leaves much thinking again there is no smoke without fire

For all Morita's associated with upmarket event locations, his East-West Art Link business location is far more modest, Google shows his PO Box 5993 address in the middle of what looks like an industrial shed near railway sidings in Kentish Town! Further investigation shows that Mr. Morita doesn't live in London at all but in a rather down what one would regard as a down at heel location in a flat

However, setting aside the ongoing fraud case what really is memorable from our investigations are imagination an old age pensioner planning to the set-up video equipment in a Japanese hotel bedroom with the scene of models (we assume women) all around wait to ‘strike a pose’ with the intention of selling this ‘Art’ across his dedicated online channels to make money is frankly questionable behavior whatever way you look at it. But Morita's judges may see this differently?
